Students use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.

Collaborative Writing - Spanish students create a children's story book working groups to add graphics, create the storyline and write the story.
Science Projects - In Physical Science, students collaborate on the mousetrap race car project in the design of a car using google docs, draw it on the computer, build the car, test it and then analyze the success or failure of their design.
Peer Review - In Language Arts, students use Turnitin.com to check for plagiarism, and to give each other feedback. They can comment on other student's papers anonymously which leads to more honest feedback.
- use google classroom to post assignments and upcoming assessments, students can post questions on homework problems and work together to solve.
News Broadcasting - Video Production class works as a collaborative group to create monthly news broadcasts - in which students learn the fundamentals of photography and cinematography as well as video production skills. These skills include pre-visualization, storyboarding, directing, and video editing.
Teamwork - Independent programing projects have ths students use MATLAB to solve a problem the student generated. Several students used MATLAB to create a game. A couple of these projects were involved enough that the student would subcontract out to other students to develop a portion of the game. The students would then have to collaborate to make the program work.
